Every staff member was incredible and welcoming. I really enjoyed the traditional-style building and beautiful room with an attached shower or attached toilet.

I had a really good stay for one night. the staff were absolutely courteous. the location was wonderful, close to the train station. the breakfast had a variety of selection, and the food was exceptional. the hotel was so close to restaurants and bars, making it easy to get around and explore.

I enjoyed the different room options, especially brilliant family room with the garden and an attached shower and a balcony over the garden. The provided breakfast was vegan with omelette, Japanese cuisine and also all beautifully prepared. The hotel had a particularly good and beautiful location a short walk to Jotokuji Temple. All the staff was nice and courteous, solved my issues.

Breakfast with Japanese cuisine and grilled fish. Very central location, perfect for a honeymoon. - Close to a metro station and surrounded by many train stations, restaurants, and stores. - Private garden adds to the beauty of the place.

Family room had facilities you could need. The bathroom was modern style and it had a hair dryer, bath sheets, and slippers for my convenience. The hotel was in an AMAZING location really close to subway stations and bus stations as well as popular eateries and tourist attractions.

This place had a great location; we were super close to bus stations, temples, and other historic sights. the main avenue nearby had awesome connections to the subway, making it easy to get around. It felt like everything was right here at our fingertips.

The room we stayed in had air conditioning and was surprisingly spacious, with a garden view, an ensuite shower, and traditional tatami mats, all set amidst a beautiful location close to temples and historic attractions.

Great location just a short walk from Hanjo Shrine, we'd definitely return if in the area.

The hotel was a lovely old building very near the center of town. Courteous staff explained how their ryokan operates. - Rooms were air-conditioned. - the bathroom was large. - Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Overall, Toshiharu Ryokan in Kyoto provided a charming and convenient stay with helpful staff, comfy beds, and well-equipped rooms.

The value for money at this ryokan was excellent, and our room was absolutely stunning. The location was central and the staff treated us like royalty.
